It was 1985, Craig Helms along with his two sons began what would be the beginning of a long road within the scrap metal industry. Using little more than a chalkboard to write weights and prices, the company flourished exceeding expectations as it began to evolve into the company that it is today.
THE ORIGINAL C&C
The original location was no larger than a typical 24 x 24 chicken house located on Highway 205 with nothing more than a pair of feed scales. They would be later known as the Sanford and Sons of Marshville and in 1999-2000 C&C Metals would relocate to its present-day location, 1310 Traywick Road in Marshville. The company would go on expand encompassing more than 7 acres.
Craig Helms, the President of C&C Metals, has always strived to be honest and dedicated to the making of the 36-year-old company. Furthermore, Craig has been known to reiterate that "We have built this business on being fair and honest to all our customers." Today, Craig Helms continues to believe in that message.
